Dave – “We used to do about 60+ gigs a year but have calmed down. You have to work hard to get out there and noticed but its our passion so it doesn’t feel like work”
In mid 2007 Hoover Dams appeared on Channel 4's Harvey Goldsmith Presents series tell us what happened?
Dave– “We won!!!! Ha ha ha ha Basically on one of the
programmes they had a ‘talent’ show and we won. It was a great experience and we got to meet the legendary Harvey Goldsmith of course. Best of the lot though is we now have footage of Dave Spikey introducing us onto stage in a Working Men's Club in Huddersfield Phoenix Night style”
Who writes the band’s songs?
Dave – “Danny writes most of the material but various members have contributed over the years. You can
always spot Danny;s though, they are the twisted ones!”
Are your music and songs just for fun, or do you have a point to make?
Vicky – “Its mainly for fun!! But there’s a lot more to the songs and lyrics than may be apparent at first glance”
